Garza Enters Plea

A man…set to stand trial on a list of sex offenses, entered a last-minute plea deal on Monday. Cameron Garza of Bryan, pled guilty to two counts of child endangering. In response to his plea, eight counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition were dismissed. He is set for sentencing on March 6th. Prosecutors say…Garza committed the crimes between March 2018 and March 2019, for the first charge. The second charge occurred between March 2019, and March of 2020. The victim, listed only as Jane Doe, would have been 11-12 years old during that time. The judge can sentence him to up to three years in jail or probation for each count.
