Gas prices

Gas prices remain higher around Ohio after the Memorial Day weekend. According to AAA, a gallon of regular gas was averaging $2.46 in yesteday’s survey, up about 3 cents from a week ago and 15 cents from a month ago. It’s also higher than the updated national average of $2.32.
The price of oil topped $50 a barrel last week for the first time since July. Despite the rise in price, analysts expect gasoline and airline fares to stay relatively low, at least through the summer travel season.
