Saturday morning crash injures Alvordton man

Two people were injured Saturday morning in a Williams County Crash. The Ohio Highway Patrol says it happened at 6:45 a.m. on US 127 at County Road M-50 in Brady Township.
Driver Mike Hope of Alvordton was turning east onto M-50 when his Chevy was struck by a southbound commercial vehicle driven by Howard Double of Jackson, Michigan. Hope and a passenger were transported by ambulance to Bryan Hospital, Hope was later transferred to St Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo, Double was not injured in the crash but he was cited for failure to maintain control. The patrol says all involved were wearing seat belts.
