Gas prices remain under $2 per gallon

Gas prices on this Mon­day are well-below $2 a gal­lon. At last check, the low­est was at the Sunoco at County Rd. 15 at U.S. 6. It’s sell­ing for $1.79 for a gal­lon of reg­u­lar unleaded. Triple A says prices have con­tin­u­ally dropped and are expected to remain under $2 a gal­lon until Christ­mas. The rea­son for the drop in prices is due to mid­west refiner­ies at capac­ity and lower demand.
