Chet Gilbert of Ashley leaves court a free man after he admits to DUI charges…in a crash that causes the death of a motorcyclist. Gilbert’s vehicle struck the rear of a motorcycle, driven by Brian Platten from Ontario, Canada. Platten was dragged 200 feet, along with his motorcycle, before being ejected. Gilbert was sentenced in Steuben Circuit Court to 2 1/2 years probation.
