New Store Causes Questions

The new Dollar General store in Stryker was a big subject at this week’s council meeting, there. Council member, Lana Tompkins said she’s fielded complaints by residents about safety issues near the store. This included the speed zone of 50 mph on the east side of Ohio 2, as it enters the village northbound. Village officials say they will ask the Department of Transportation about changing the speed limit to 35 mph and look at a possible left-turn lane for southbound traffic.
