Gloria Ann (Lindsey) Crandall, 93, of Bryan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Community Hospitals & Wellness Centers, Bryan, after a brief illness.  Gloria was born on January 15, 1930, in Bryan, Ohio, to the late Hugh Ames and Audrey Elisabeth (Makley) Lindsey.  She was a 1948 graduate of Bryan High School.  After graduation, Gloria continued her education at The Ohio State University, where she was a sister in the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.  She obtained a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Ohio State in 1952.  After teaching kindergarten for one year in Bryan, Gloria married the Rev. J. Gloria is survived by her sister Kristine Lowe, sister-in-law Beverly Lindsey, nieces Pamela (Glen) Turner and Meg (Lance) Hancock, and nephews Hugh (Barbara Wirtz) Lindsey and Matthew Lindsey.  She was especially close to nephews Kirk (Amy) Lindsey of Columbus and Robert (Karen) Lowe of Dayton, who also survive.  Gloria was preceded in death by her husband J. Louis Crandall and brothers Hugh and John Lindsey.Gloria’s family will always treasure her keen sense of humor and unique ability to make even the mundane fun.  She will be dearly missed.
