Bryan City Schools Treasurer, Rob Rosswurm says with the recent passage of the state budget, the district looks set to benefit, at least in terms of funding. Rosswurm told the school board the new funding formula will generate about $50,000 more in state funding per year than previously expected. Combined with $21 million in revenues and $20 million in expenses this past year…the financial outlook for the school system is looking bright. The general fund is at over $12.5 million and total funds on hand at over $23.8 million. Insiders are impressed.
