Good Jobs Numbers

The jobless rate around Southwest Michigan dropped during the month of October. The Department of Technology, Management and Budget released the data for the area. The largest drop in Southwest Michigan was in Hillsdale County, which went from a September jobless rate of 4.8 percent to an October figure of 4.5. Branch County went from 4.6 percent to 4.4, while St. Joseph County’s jobless rate remained the same from September to October at 4.2 percent.
