Good Samaritan Plans Fundraiser In Defiance

Good Samar­i­tan School in Defi­ance is hold­ing it’s first Mom to Mom fundraiser next month. The event is being billed as the equiv­a­lent of a large indoor garage sale for par­ents, with children’s items avail­able for pur­chase. It will kick off on April 11th at 9am and run until 1pm that day. Admis­sion is $2 per per­son. Early bird admis­sion of $3 will get you in the door at 8:30 a.m. for the first choice of items, includ­ing gen­tly used cloth­ing, toys, shoes and equip­ment for babies and chil­dren. Want a booth to sell items? That will cost you just $20, and a table will be pro­vided. Ven­dors have until April 9 to reg­is­ter. Pro­ceeds will ben­e­fit ARC, a non­profit orga­ni­za­tion advo­cat­ing for peo­ple with intel­lec­tual and devel­op­men­tal dis­abil­i­ties, includ­ing Down syn­drome, autism, cere­bral palsy and other diag­noses.
