A pair of area residents were among those indicted recently by a Defiance County grand jury. 34 year old Zachary A. Kolbe of Montpelier, was indicted on one count of grand theft of a firearm. Authorities allege that Kolbe stole a firearm from a federally licensed firearms dealer on May 4.
41 year old Robert A. Murray III of rural Bryan, was indicted on one count each of domestic violence and violating a protection order. Authorities allege that on April 17, Murray caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a female household member. He has a previous conviction of domestic violence.
