An attempted drug theft goes terribly wrong for the suspect in Montpelier. Investigators say Da Shon Bowman used Stephanie Funkhouser to lure Rocky Reynolds from his County Route 7 home. When Reynolds comes out, Bowman appears and hits Reynolds on the head with a club…this to steal some drugs inside…what Bowman didn’t count on was the handgun Reynolds had. He shot Bowman…he’s in a Ft. Wayne hospital, expected to survive. Charges are pending.
