On Monday night, a hay bale fire prompted the response of two local fire departments. At 6:35 p.m., the Ridgeville Township Fire Department received a call about 45 burning bales at U365 State Route 66, which is located in northwest Henry County just south of Road U1. Mutual aid was also provided by the Archbold-German Township Fire Department.
