Head On Crash Leaves Only Minor Injuries

In DeKalb County, the dri­vers of two vehi­cles involved in a head on col­li­sion Tues­day morn­ing escaped with minor injuries. The acci­dent did how­ever, affect the morn­ing com­mute of many, as it hap­pened at about 6:50am on U.S. 6 at the entrance to south­bound I-69. 46-year-old Don­ald John­son Junior of Water­loo was mak­ing a left turn when his pickup truck was hit by a car dri­ven by 28-year-old Wes­ley Wright of Fort Wayne. John­son was cited for fail­ure to yield. He and Wright were both treated at the scene for minor injuries, and released.
