Helen Taylor, 89

Helen M. Taylor, age 89, of Bryan, Ohio, and formerly a longtime resident of Edon, Ohio, died at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Hillside Country Living near Bryan. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and for many years worked in nursing home administration.

Helen M. Taylor was born on July 6, 1926, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas and Lola (Mundy) Luke. She married Duane A. Taylor on July 30, 1944, in Fayette, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on September 25, 2008.

Survivors include one daughter, Diana (Roger) Hartsock, of Edon, Ohio; one son, Thomas (Jeri) Taylor, of Montpelier, Ohio; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorene King, of Bryan; and two sisters-in-law, Mildred Taylor, of Edon, Ohio, and Lena Luke, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Marvin Taylor, in 1964; one grandson, Timothy Hartsock, in 2013; six brothers; and three sisters.

Grave side services for Helen M. Taylor will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in Brown Cemetery near Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor David Miller officiating. There will be no visitation. Services have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
