Hennessey In Court

A Defiance woman charged with leaving a threatening note that caused the evacuation of a local restaurant in early 2022 is sentenced in a Defiance County courtroom. Courtney Hennessey, 26, appeared for sentencing on a charge of inducing panic, a fifth-degree felony. She was placed on community control for two years with a 12-month prison term reserved if she violates terms, according to officials in the cas3. Hennessey pled guilty to the charge on Jan. 12 when a pre-sentence investigation was ordered.
