HENRY HIRES A DOG WARDEN

The Henry County com­mis­sion­ers have hired a deputy dog war­den.

Com­mis­sion­ers hired Guy Miller to fill the posi­tion. Miller’s new duties begin effec­tive Oct. 15. Miller will be placed on a 120-day pro­ba­tion­ary period and will receive $10 per hour.

In other busi­ness this week, Henry County Com­mis­sion­ers approved a peti­tion filed by solic­i­tor James Rode for 3.241 acres to be annexed from Bart­low Town­ship into the vil­lage of Desh­ler. The prop­erty is owned by the village.
