In Hicksville, a missed deadline for a grant application has put a sewer project in jeopardy. Village Councilman Ron Beverly said Monday during the council’s regular meeting that the city could love a million dollars. The Council had been held up by design changes for the storm sewer separation project and by the EPA, which had not responded to submitted reports. Council is asking for an extension in order to proceed with the project.
