Hicksville man was arraigned on two child sexual abuse charges

A Hicksville man was arraigned on two child sexual abuse charges in Defiance County Common Pleas Court. 31 year old Christopher Lake of Hicksville, pleaded not guilty to rape and gross sexual imposition. Authorities allege that he engaged in sexual conduct and sexual contact with a female juvenile under 10 years of age at a Hicksville residence. Because of the victim’s age, the rape charge carries a potential life imprisonment sentence upon conviction.
