HICKSVILLE TALKS METERS

The Hicksville Village Council on Monday, discussed water flow meters.

Council discussed the fact that the meters, which monitor water flow, cost $1,100 a month to keep.

As Hicksville continues to work to improve its water system without the time-consuming and expensive option of a sewer and storm sewer separation project, council approved a motion to remove the flow meters and keep them until major projects begin.
