Friends and family of a Hicksville high school student are in mourning today after the 17-year-old lost his fight with bone cancer. Noah Karacson died on Tuesday. He was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in 2012. The Hicksville community rallied around the well-liked teen, raising money for his expenses and honoring him at football, plus upcoming wrestling and baseball seasons. Friends printed “Team Noah” shirts and sold them for his benefit. He said the shirts were his strength. Funeral services for Noah Karacson are pending.
