The Hicksville Board of Education spent part of their regular session discussing state achievement results for the school district. While Hicksville Schools met 70 percent of the necessary state indicators, it did not meet all of the state’s goals despite a 256 percent increase over last year’s test scores. Hicksville ranks 52nd overall among more than 600 schools in the state.
