Hicksville Village Council discusses lack of pool.

Hicksville Village Council heard from citizens about the lack of a pool and discussed sidewalk replacements during its meeting Monday. According to the Crescent News, one person came before the council to ask why the old pool had been taken out when there was no immediate plan to replace it. Council explained that the village had a grant to take out the old pool which was why it was removed. Council Member Ron Beverly also added that when he did work under the pool 30 years ago the concrete under the old pool then “was junk.” Council says it has filed for several grants for a new pool.
