HICKSVILLE WOMAN INJURED IN CRASH

A woman was seri­ously injured Tues­day after­noon in a one-vehicle crash.

60 year old Julie Bow­ers of Casebeer-Miller Road, Hicksville, was taken by air ambu­lance to Parkview Hos­pi­tal, Fort Wayne fol­low­ing that crash.

Accord­ing to troop­ers, Bow­ers’ pickup truck was east­bound on Williams County Road C.75, just before 2pm when the truck ran off the road and hit a tree.

Bow­ers report­edly was not wear­ing a safety belt at the time of the crash.

Bryan and Edger­ton fire depart­ments and Williams County EMS were called to the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
