A drone leads police to man running into a wooded area, following a pursuit near Garrett. DeKalb County deputies chased a vehicle to the area of County Road 327 and County Road 72, before the driver fled on foot. Officers from DeKalb and Allen Counties set up a perimeter and a police dog tracked the suspect. Officers used an infrared camera on the drone to locate a heat signature in the woods and guide officers on the ground…where they took 37-year-old Nathan Conn of Waterloo into custody. He faces DeKalb County charges related to the pursuit as well as a warrant for battery from Noble County.
