Hillsdale Approves Burn Ban Changes

Ear­lier this week, we told you about a pro­posal to change the Hill­dale city open-burning ordi­nance. The change was approved by the city coun­cil and bans all open burn­ing in the city between mid­night and 4am, mean­ing no camp­fires, open fire pits, or bon­fires. Open fires are also off-limits dur­ing burn bans issued by local or state author­i­ties. The ordi­nance does not affect bar­be­cue, gas, or char­coal grills.
