It was blue skies and calm weather for the third annual Defiance County Hot Air Ballon Festival last Saturday. The colorful lighter-than-aircraft at the county Airport arrived early in the morning. Sixteen balloons and their owners participated, tethering them for rides. There was a hearty pancake breakfast, a petting zoo and inflatables for the kids to play on.
