Howard Scheiber, 85

Howard D. Scheiber, age 85, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 3:30 A.M. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio, where he was a resident. Mr. Scheiber was a 1947 graduate of Edgerton High School and served in the United States Army from 1951-1953. He was employed by United Airlines as a station manager, serving the company in many locations throughout a career of over thirty years.

Howard D. Scheiber was born on April 11, 1929, in Hamilton, Indiana, the son of Arthur and Margaret (Hopkins) Scheiber. Survivors include one sister, Jennie Watson, of Bryan, and his nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma (Howard) Beavers and Patricia (Paul) Karlstadt; one niece, Cindy Beavers; and one brother-in-law, Creighton Watson.

At Howard’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
