Donations are down and the number of animals in need are up at the Williams County Humane Society, as they begin their annual donation drive. For 2017, the organization– which is entirely donation-funded– has a $140,000 budget covering everything from animal food, supplies, medical care, spay and neutering service to reduce the population of unwanted pets, as well as salaries and wages for their staff. Officials with the non-profit group say their endowment alone is not enough. Donations are down and animal numbers up at the Williams County Humane Society as it begins its annual donation drive. They receive no county, state or federal funding.
They’re located at 9464 County Road 13, in Bryan. The phone number is 419-636-2200. You can donate online at; williamscountyhumanesociety.com.
