A tree stand falls in Steuben County, injuring a deer hunter on the first day of the season in the Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area. Two other hunters heard someone yelling and followed the voice to where 33-year-old Brent Chester was laying injured at the bottom of the tree where the stand was located. Paramedics were called in to attend to Chester’s internal injuries. He was flown to Parkview Regional in stable condition.
