The Village of Stryker is working to purchase the water tower on Railroad Street. City officials tell the media…the village is in the process of purchasing the water tower at the old A Schulman building on Railroad Ave. Schulman sold the property in 2021 to Stryker. They add…the new owners wanted more money than the old lease, which was $1, so they decided to buy it, instead. During this week’s meeting of Stryker Village Council, solicitor Kevin Whitlock said those involved need to decide on who has the authority to actually sign the paperwork to sell the property.
