Indictments handed down

In Defiance County, a grand jury has indicted 55-year-old Alex Johnson for kidnapping. The man is accused of forcing a woman he knows from a residence and drove her to a rural location for sex. The DA’s office is still investigating and there may be more charges coming for Johnson.
A man who assaulted a man in his home then ran from the scene and ended up on the train tracks has been indicted. 23-year-old Cody Jenkins is now facing aggravated burglary, interference with the operation of a train and inducing panic.
A 24-year-old woman is being charged with a case of trying to harm another female. Cassandra Robinson allegedly forced her way into the victim’s home with intent to harm her. She’s now facing aggravated burglary, endangering children and resisting arrest.
