A Fort Wayne man is badly hurt…after icy road conditions lead to a crash near northbound I-69 in DeKalb County. Officials tell reporters 26-year-old, Joshua Sailor approaches a bridge on northbound 69…near the S.R. 8 exit. That’s when his vehicle begins to fish tail. Sailor loses control. The vehicle then careens over the guardrail…into the center median. Then…it continues over a dirt barrier…before going off the center median and towards the railroad tracks, below the bridge. Sailor gets out of the wreckage before it catches fire. He suffers a neck fracture and scrapes in the crash. It takes several hours to clear the crash scene. The investigation into the accident continues.
