One man is badly hurt in a solo crash, near Defiance, on Wilhelm Road, north of Watson Road. Officials tell reporters…the hot rod with an open top…veered off the roadway…hitting a utility pole, which broke in half. The driver was taken to Defiance Regional Medical Center. No word on the victim’s condition. State and local officials are handling the investigation.
