Jackie L. Poorman, 69

Jackie L. Poorman, age 69, of Wauseon and formerly of Dayton passed away late Monday May 30, 2016 at Swanton Health Care following an extended illness. Prior to her retirement she had been a lifelong homemaker and had also worked for Goodwill.

Mrs. Poorman was born on August 7, 1946 in Dayton the daughter of the late Joseph Eugene and the late Claramarie (Brunett) Hofele, Sr. She married Terry Poorman and he preceded her in death in 1996. She attended the North Clinton Church in Wauseon and the Swanton Church of the Nazarene where she enjoyed singing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing bingo.

Mrs. Poorman is survived by her daughters; Joyce (Bob) Goins of Wauseon, Cassandra (Scott) Markley of Wauseon, grandchildren; Bradley, Amber and Cameron Goins and Andrew and Travis Markley. Also surviving is sister, Nancy Ferguson of Dayton and brother Joe (Grace) Hofele of Texas. Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents was half sister, Cynthia Wilson.

A memorial service will beheld at 10:30am Tuesday June 7, 2016 at the North Clinton Church near Wauseon. A service of interment will precede the memorial service at 9:30am at the Wauseon Union Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.
