Johnnie Jean Partin, age 82, of Edgerton, Ohio, died early on Sunday, December 3, 2017, in her home. Mrs. Partin enjoyed reading, spending time with family and friends and watching old movies.
Johnnie Jean Partin was born on December 28, 1934, in Frakes, Kentucky, the daughter of Robert and Ida (Fletcher) Jones. She married James Partin on June 26, 1968, Jellico, Tennessee, and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2003.
Survivors include one son, Gerald (Theresa) Orick, of Edgerton; one daughter, Cathy (Bob) Owsley, of Butler, Indiana; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul (Wilma) Jones, of Edgerton; and three sisters, Janice (Delton) Riehle, of Edgerton, Clara Chesher, of West Plains, Missouri, and Glennedra Bird, of Sterling, Illinois. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Orick; one grandson, Ben Friedel; three sisters, Angela Partin, Bobbi Jean Powers and Francis Hill.
Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, from 2:00-6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Funeral services will be held at the Creech Funeral Home, 112 South 21st Street, Middlesboro, Kentucky on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro.
Memorials are requested to Edgerton Senior Center.
