Patricia L. Watts, 78

Patricia L. Watts, age 78, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 1:33 P.M. on Monday, December 4, 2017, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center, where she was a resident, after an extended illness. Mrs. Watts was a graduate of Hillsdale High School in Hillsdale, Michigan, and had been employed by The Aro Corporation for thirty-seven years, retiring in 2003. She was a member of the Top of Ohio Red Hats and enjoyed traveling. She and her husband were an adventurous couple, traveling extensively, especially in Alaska, logging more than seven thousand miles of travel together. Their travels would take them to Nova Scotia to visit the lighthouse and quilt barns and in 2003 they toured Ohio, visiting all the covered bridges. They also collected pictures of old barns, covered bridges and lighthouses.

Patricia L. Watts was born on May 29, 1939, in Hillsdale, Michigan, the daughter of Ralph Dean and Helen Marie (Spangle) Wagner. She married her husband of nearly fifty years, Carson L. “Lee” Watts, on February 4, 1968, in Bryan and he survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Jacquelyne Marie (Rodney) Brewer, of Bryan; one son, Rodney “Jim” (Bonnie) Dommer, of Columbus, Ohio; two stepchildren, Linda (Mel) Swank, in Tennessee, and Larry (Jean) Watts, of Montpelier, Ohio; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one brother, Clayton (Connie) Wagner, of Golden, Colorado.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Dennis Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery.
