July trial date set in the case of an area man accused of the death of Henry County man

A July trial date has been set in the case of an area man accused of recklessly causing the death of Wayne Helms Jr. of Henry County. 27 year old James Doan III of Fayette, was indicted by a Henry County grand jury Feb. 22 on charges of reckless homicide, a third-degree felony; possession of heroin and aggravated trafficking in Oxycodone. Doan appeared in Henry County Common Pleas Court Wednesday, and a jury trial was set to begin July 10. A pretrial hearing was set for May 9 beginning at 9:30 a.m.
