Kidnapping In CG Thwarted

Michael Strykul of Columbus Grove is charged with failure to comply with a lawful order of a police officer and DUI…this, after an alleged kidnapping attempt is made. Strykul was taken into custody….additional charges are pending. Dispatch got the call on N. High St. Apparently he took a child from the home where his significant other lives…after an argument. After a car chase with police…ending in a crash…Strykul is arrested…the child, checked out and returned home.
