Kudos To Wauseon Elementary

Wauseon Ele­men­tary School has been named one of the state’s 39 high-performing reward schools for 2012.

High-performing reward schools score in the top 10 per­cent of schools for com­bined read­ing and math pro­fi­ciency.

Rec­og­niz­ing high per­form­ing schools, accord­ing to the Ohio Depart­ment of Edu­ca­tion, moti­vates schools that are not mak­ing progress, gives more energy into those that are, and cre­ates role mod­els for all schools to follow.
