Lake In Court

A Hicksville man enters pleas to two child sexual abuse charges in a Defiance County courtroom. Christopher Lake is accused of performing the acts in 2016 with a 7-year-old girl at a Hicksville residence. In a plea deal, Lake had been indicted on a charge of rape, a first-degree felony which included the possibility of life imprisonment upon conviction due to the child’s age. That charge will be dismissed at sentencing.
