Lawsuit filed by AquaBounty against Williams County commissioners has its first hearing.

The lawsuit filed by AquaBounty against Williams County commissioners over use of county right-of way had its first hearing. The lawsuit came after the commissioners twice rejected a request from Pioneer officials to use the county right-of-way to construct water and wastewater lines in a public right-of-way along the south side of County Road S between County Roads 15 and 16.25, northeast of Pioneer. Commissioners rejected the request in March after counsel reviewed it and said it wouldn’t be a public utility.
