Levy Renewal Efforts At NE Board

Northeastern Board of Education members voted on the renewal of an operating levy. The board approved a resolution to proceed with requesting the 2.95-mill operating levy for five years. This action places the renewal on the Nov. 6 general election ballot. Superintendent, Jim Roach stresses there is no increase in taxes with the proposal.
