Linda K. Kitchen, 78

Linda K. Kitchen, age 78, of Bryan, passed away Tuesday evening, November 21, 2023 at Parkview Bryan Hospital following a sudden illness. Linda retired as a field manager for the American Red Cross Fort Wayne Chapter with over 25 years of service.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, making crafts and flower arrangements.

Linda was born on July 28, 1945 in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of Ivan L. and Alice M. (Hesser) Brentlinger. She was a graduate of Belle Center High School.

Linda is survived by her son, Shane Cochrane, of Bryan; daughter, Cindy Johnson, of Newark; grandchildren, Kate (Tim) Brown, of Bryan, Shaina and Lorelei Cochrane, both of Kenton and Dylan and Logan Johnson, both of Newark; and siblings, Ronald (Sharon) Brentlinger, Gloria (Paul) Cornell, Donna Heindel and Max (Dorothy) Brentlinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard and Russell “Sid” Brentlinger and sisters, Joyce Nickerson, Judy Phillips and Doris Henry.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 11:00-1:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating.

The family requests memorial donations be directed to the American Red Cross.
