Local Board Renewal Levy Passes Again

The Four County ADAMhs Board’s, five-year renewal levy passes in the general election by a vote of 26,272-17,371. The levy was first approved in 1989 and has been extended every five years since. The tax generates nearly $2.1 million a year, or 29 percent of the board’s budget. For the owner of a $100,000 home, the tax costs $20.30 a year. The board provides alcohol, drug addiction and mental health services in Williams, Fulton, Defiance, and Henry counties.
