Local Internet Problems

A denial-of-service attack disrupted the internet for Bryan Municipal Utilities customers and a Toledo Edison equipment failure cut power throughout the county. More than 4,000 customers lost electricity because of damage to a high-voltage line along the Fremont Pike, southeast of Perrysburg. The denial-of-service attack affected cable modem customers citywide for a short time. Who launched the attack and why have yet to be determined.
