Loop Trial Update

A Paulding County judge grants a continuance in the Michael Loop trial. Loop is accused of murder and a list of other charges. Back in September, prosecutors say Loop took the life of Philip Koenn, who apparently died from a gunshot wound at his rural Cecil residence. They say Loop killed Koenn after he was caught by the victim breaking into his home. Loop’s counsel needed the extra time, as they told the court the nearly 20 motions in the trial will take time to digest.
