Lots of Catch And Release This Weekend For Bryan PD

Bryan Police report the arrest on Fri­day after­noon of 48 year old Beth Diringer of Bryan, on charges related to Theft… in this case, it was Shoplift­ing. She was released. Also on Fri­day, Bryan Police col­lared 31 year old Philip Kurtz of Bryan, just before 11PM on a charge of OVI. Kurtz was also released. On Sat­ur­day just before 2AM, 24 year old Derek Leininger of Mont­pe­lier was arrested for OVI, Pos­ses­sion of Mar­i­juana, Pos­ses­sion of Drug Para­pher­na­lia, and Open Con­tainer. He too was released. And finally on Sat­ur­day, around 10:45PM, Bryan Police nabbed 18 year old Casey Gearhart of Bryan on a charge of Pos­ses­sion of Drug Para­pher­na­lia. The Inves­ti­ga­tion is con­tin­u­ing in that case, and fur­ther charges may be filed. In the mean­time, Gearhart also was released.
