Stryker Meth Producer Headed To Prison

A man from Stryker, who inves­ti­ga­tors say caused a fire at a Defi­ance home while mak­ing metham­phet­a­mine, is now headed to prison. 18 year old

James Black Jr was handed a manda­tory four-year prison term in Defi­ance County Court on charges of ille­gal man­u­fac­ture of drugs and van­dal­ism. Black was also ordered to make resti­tu­tion to the Multi-Area Nar­cotics Unit for the drug trans­ac­tion to a con­fi­den­tial infor­mant. He was also given credit for 142 days served in jail while his case was pending.
