O. Lucille Grime, age 88, of Wauseon passed away early Thursday May 9, 2013 at Fulton Manor. Prior to her retirement she had been a Clerk at the former Red and White in Wauseon and a lifelong Homemaker.
Mrs. Grime was born on February 10, 1925 in Napoleon to the late Alfred and the late Bernadine (Hefflinger) Zimmerman. On July 17, 1948 she married Dale E. Grime and he preceded her in death in 2006. She was a member of the St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon and the Mother of Twins Club. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking.
Surviving are children; Jim (Judy) Grime of Wauseon, Ron (Nancy) Grime of Wauseon, Diane (Joel) Michael of Pettisville, Pamela Grime of Pettisville, 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters; Lois (Vernon) Schroeder of Fayette and Judy (Alan) Colvin of Pelham, AL. Preceding her in death was daughter Patricia Baumgartner, grand-daughter; Heidi Grime and brothers John and Richard Zimmerman.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00am Tuesday May 14, 2013 at St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon with Fr. David Bruning and Fr. Robert Holden officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Caspar Cemetery. Friends may call in the Pope John XXIII room of the St. Caspar Catholic Church from 3:00-8:00pm on Monday. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to either Odyssey Hospice or the St. Caspar Catholic Church. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com.
